Mirror Twin Brewing was started by a small group of craft and home brewing enthusiasts. Our style pulls from the best brewers in Lexington, Kentucky and beyond. We are fortunate enough to live in an area where craft brewing is more than a hobby but a part of the culture; up there with UK Basketball, horses and Bourbon. At Mirror Twin, we consider the customers and fans to be a large part of our brewing and decision making process. To that end, you will see a constant change in our TWIN system of brewing where we rely on feedback to know what to brew next or what to keep available. We look forward to meeting and chatting with you in our new brewpub on beautiful National Avenue in Lexington.

Cheers to another great creation!

Red Blooded American

Red Ale

This medium bodied, delicious ale makes you want to yell out 'Merica. It has a beautiful red color with just enough hop bitterness to play perfectly with the malty goodness. This is a great beer for people who are ready to graduate from a blonde ale, and get into more serious brews.

D’s Nutty Brown Ale

Brown Ale

True to the name, this beer has a slight nutty flavor and a fuller body. It has hints of caramel and chocolate but finishes clean. The German noble hops balance the sweetness to make this an incredibly drinkable beer. Have one or five, we suggest the latter.

Mos' Def

India Pale Ale

This is a fantastic IPA that utilizes the fruity and citrus wonder of mosaic hops. Although, generally hard to get, we made sure we got our hands on these hops to make this beer. While it comes in at 74 IBUs, the bitterness is not overwhelming. Flavors of stone fruit and citrus shine through, balanced by small amounts of caramel malt. This is the perfect IPA for Hop Heads and those trying to get a taste for this beer style.

Whatever You Want Wheat

Witbier

This wheat ale, fermented with a Belgian witbier yeast, has a fruity and spicy flavor that matches well with the German noble hops. It’s slightly cloudy, as a good witbier should be, with a slight orange hughe. You can drink this on its own, or have one of our bartenders add a locally sourced juice to create a refreshing shandy. Not a beer drinker? Give this beer a try and see if we can't convert you, or at least turn this into one of your favorites.

White Girl Wasted

Blonde Ale

This is a light and refreshing ale that is easy to drink and easy to enjoy. We use two different malts to give this blonde ale a bit of color and a slight sweetness. We also use a unique method of adding the hops, which mellows the bitterness and makes the beer smoother to drink. Have a few, and see where the night goes.

Twin draft

Chin-know-you-want-it

Chinook IPA

This is the Twin beer of the Mos' Def. We decided to use Chinook hops because they add a piney, resin flavor that Hop Heads love. It has the exact same recipe as the Mos' Def, we just changed the hops on this one.

Wild Girl Wasted

Wild Blonde Ale

This is our twined version of the blonde ale. Like all of our twin beers, it has the exact same recipe of the White Girl Wasted, except we used a wild strain of the yeast cultivated at the head brewer's house. It has an almost Belgian quality to it, with some added tartness. Perfect for the Funk lover.

OUR FAVORITES

For Freedom

Scottish Ale

This is a full flavored beer inspired by a country that knows how to make damn good beer. Heavy caramel and roasted flavors shine, while some residual sweetness makes this beer really enjoyable. We added a hint of chocolate malt to give it a little something extra. It has a low hop flavor and aroma. The malts take center stage for this brew.
